Unable to change desktop wallpaper

Sometimes if you try to change desktop  wallpaper of your computer you will find you can’t change it.

How to Change desktop wallpaper

There are two reasons for it :-  an active desktop issue or a registry issue.

Follow the instructions given  below to resolve an active desktop issue.

↣ Click on Start Button >> Click Control Panel >> Click on Display >> Click on Desktop tab >> Click on Customize Desktop button >> Click on web tab
↣ Uncheck any items listed under Web pages
↣  Click Ok
↣  Now try to change the desktop wallpaper.
↣ If the Wallpaper changes, it is resolved otherwise you have to edit the registry.
↣ Repair the Registry Entry.

Caution : Incorrect Registry Editing can cause serious problems. Please be careful while editing the registry or contact our support team to fix it remotely

↣ Click on Start
↣ Click on Run
↣ Type In Regedit and click on OK
↣ Browse To The following Registry Sub Key and delete them
↣ Click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Now Expand Software >> Click on Microsoft >> click on Windows >> Now expand CurrentVersion >> click on Policies >> now expand System
↣ Search the  WALLPAPER key on the right hand side
↣ Right-click it  and Delete this entry
↣ Close the Registry Editor
↣ It will resolve the problem.  |
