↣ Click the Start Menu >> Click Outlook Express
↣ On the Tools menu, click Accounts
↣ Click the Mail tab
↣ Click your POP3 account, and then click Properties
↣ Click the Advanced tab
↣ Gradually increase the server time-out setting until the problem is resolved
Step 2
↣ Click Start Menu >> Click Run
↣ Type control panel in the Open box and then press ENTER
↣ If you are in Classic View, double-click Mail. The Mail Setup dialog box opens
↣ Double-click Mail
↣ The Mail Setup dialog box opens
↣ If you are in Category View, under Control Panel, click Switch to Classic View, and then double-click Mail.
↣ The Mail Setup dialog box opens.
↣ In the Mail Setup dialog box, click Show Profiles.
↣ On the General tab, under When starting Microsoft Office Outlook, use this profile, click Prompt for a profileto be used
↣ Click Add.
↣ In the Profile Name box, type the name that you want to use for the new e-mail profile
↣ Click OK
↣ In the E-mail Accounts dialog box, click Add a new e-mail account
↣ Click Next
↣ Click the appropriate server type for your new e-mail account,
↣ Click Next
↣ Type your account information in the required boxes
↣ Click Next
↣ Click Finish, and then click OK
Step 3
↣ If you are using a LAN connection
↣ To turn off the Proxy Client
↣ Click the Start Menu >> Click Control Panel
↣ Double-click WSP Client.
↣ Click to clear the Enable Winsock Proxy check box, click OK, and then connect to the Internet.
↣ To turn on the Proxy Client
↣ Click the Start Menu >> Click Control Panel Double-click WSP Client
↣ Click to select the Enable Winsock Proxy check box, click OK, and then connect to the LAN
