Unable to find “Open with” option in the Windows 10 operating system

Tip 1 : Open Notepad for registry editor windows 10

Typing below command in notepad

Window Registry Editor Version 5.00 [Hkey_Classes_Root*\shellex\Contentmenuhandlers\openwith]@=”{09799AFB-Ad67-11d1-abcd-00c04fc30936}”

Then Save file

File> Save as> type “Openwith.reg” as file name> choose “All Files“> Ok

Close Notepad > Open file by double click

Hit Yes option

Now, try “Open with” now

If the still now resolve, then the following steps.

You can try tip 2 if the issue still not solved.

Tip 2: Lets Try Registry Editor

Open regedit:
Go to Start Menu and type regedit.
Click on “regedit” to open the Registry Editor

Give it permission to do changes on your system

Go to below section after open Registry Editor

HKEY_Classes_Root> right-click on ContextMenuHandlers option> then click on Key option

Entry new key as Open With

On the right panel screen, there is a Default entry. Double click on it

Enter the below value in it.

Click Ok

Now, Open with command will appear
