Tech Advice 1

↣ Please can close all your programs.
↣ Then go to Start >> Search

Please then type the following without quotation marks ‘normal.dot’

↣ Please then select this file when found – and rename it to ‘oldnormal.dot’
↣ Please then restart Word – does it open up?
↣ (Please note that normal.dot is a hidden file – so you may need to change the settings in Windows Explorer so that you can view hidden files – Start Windows Explorer – Click Tools – Folder options – Click the View tab – and select ‘Show hidden files and folders’)
