Menu and toolbar missing in EXCEL 2003
How to fix missing toolbar & menu in excel 2003

Please do the following steps to fix the problem
↣ Close Excel.
↣ Open My Computer
↣ Click on folder Options at the top
↣ Click on view tab Clear the Hide extensions for known file types box & Click Show hidden files and folders & then Click OK.
↣ Locate the Excel.xlb file in the following folder
↣ C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel
Where username is your user name.
↣ NOTE: If Excel.xlb is not in this folder Search for it by clicking Start, & then Clicking Search.
↣ Right-Click Excel.xlb >> Click Rename >> type ExcelXLB.old & then press ENTER.
↣ Restart Excel & then re-create your custom tool bar and menu bar settings as required.
