How To Connect Two Computers For Sharing Internet
Connect first computer to second computer(in which cable modem is connected) ,
↣ For this use crossover cable or LAN cable.
↣ Note that both computers must have network interface cards(NIC) installed.
↣ Then enable Internet Connection Sharing(ICS) to use the Network Setup Wizard.
↣ use following steps to enable ICS.
↣ click on Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Communications >> Network Setup Wizard
↣ Click Next until you find the Select a connection method screen.
↣ Click This computer connects directly to the Internet and press ok to complete the installation of ICS.
After this use following steps.
↣ click on start >> Control Panel >> Network and Internet Connections >> Network Connections.
↣ Click the local area network (LAN) connection
↣ Under Network Tasks, click Change settings of this connection.
↣ in this dialog box unmark Client for Microsoft Networks and File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks
↣ Click on Advanced tab and select the check box allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection.
↣ In the same dialog box,Under Internet Connection Firewall
↣ select the check box Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet
↣ Click OK
This will help you to share Internet connection between two computer.
