How to Fix excel not responding

Tech Advice 1
Please do the following steps to fix the problem

 Click on start Menu >> Serch >> files and folders
 In the search Box type excel.exe
 If the problem only occurs when you start the Excel program follow these steps
 Click On Start Menu >> point to Search & then Click For Files or Folders.
 In the Search for files or folders named box type Excel.exe.
 In the Look in list click My Computer & then click Search Now.
 After the Excel.exe file is found double-click the file to start Microsoft Excel.
 If it works then the shortcut is not working create a new shortcut

 Caution : Incorrect Registry Editing can cause serious problems.
 Please be careful while editing registry or contact our supoprt team to fix it remotley
 Delete the registry keys for the COM add-ins
 Delete the registry keys for the COM add-ins and then restart Excel.
 Please do the following steps to fix the problem
 Exit all Office programs.
 Click On Start Menu >> click Run
 In the Open Box type regedit & then click OK.
 Locate the following registry subkey
 HKEY_CURRENT_USER>>>Software>>>Microsoft>>>Office>>>Excel>>>AddIns
 Click Addins & then click Export on the File menu.
 Name the file XLaddinHKCU.reg & then save the file to the desktop.
 Select the AddIns subkey click Delete on the Edit menu & then click Yes.
 Locate the following registry subkey
 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>>>Software>>>Microsoft>>>Office>>>Excel>>>Addins
 Click Addins & then click Export on the File menu.
 Name the file XLaddinHKLM.reg & then save the file to the desktop.
 Select the AddIns subkey click Delete on the Edit menu & then click Yes.
 Exit Registry Editor.
 Reboot YOur system
