 This error can lead to crashes, shut down problems etc..
 Perform these steps leaving the svchost crash dialog open.

Enable Automatic Updates

 Click On start Menu >> Click Run
 In the Open Box Type services.msc >> Click Ok
 Double click the service “Automatic Updates”.
 Click on the Log On tab please ensure the option “Local System account” is selected and the option “Allow service to interact with desktop” is unchecked Check If this service has been enabled on the listed Hardware Profile. If not please Click the Enable button to enable it.
 lick Start Menu >> Click Run Button
 In the Open Box type “services.msc” (without quotation marks) >> Click Ok
 Double Click the service Automatic Updates

 Then please Click the button Start under Service Status to start the service.

 Type REGSVR32 WUAPI.DLL (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
 Click Ok when you receive the “DllRegisterServer in WUAPI.DLL succeeded

 REGSVR32 WUAUENG.DLL
 REGSVR32 WUAUENG1.DLL
 REGSVR32 ATL.DLL

Rename the SoftwareDistribution folder

 Click On Start Menu >> Run Button
 In the Open Box type: C:\WINDOWS & Press Enter.
 Search for Software Distribution & change to SDold.
 After this
 Click on Start Menu >> Right Click On My computer
 Click Properties  then the automatic updates tab
 Choose turn off automatic updates
 Reboot your computer
 Go back to Start Menu and in all programs go to windows update you have to be Connected to the Internet.
 Manually update windows & Turn your automatic updates back on.

Delete and rename few Dll files to fix SVSCHOST.exe Bug

 On the desktop >> Double-click My Computer
 Delete the Catroot2 folder from >>  c:\Windows \System32\Catroot2 folder
 Open the drive c:\Windows folder  & then rename the SoftwareDistribution folder
    as SoftwareDistributionOLD
 Open the drive c:\Windows \system32 folder & then follow below steps
 Rename the Wuweb.dll file as Wuweb.dll.old
 Rename the Wuapi.dll file as Wuapi.dll.old
 Rename the Wuauclt.exe file as Wuauclt.exe.old
 Rename the Wuaucpl.cpl file as Wuaucpl.cpl.old
 Rename the Wuaueng1.dll file as Wuaueng1.dll.old
 Rename the Wuaueng.dll file as Wuaueng.dll.old
 Rename the Wuauserv.dll file as Wuauserv.dll.old
 Rename the Wucltui.dll file as Wucltui.dll.old
 Rename the Wups2.dll file as Wups2.dll.old
 Rename the Wups.dll file as Wups.dll.old
 Restart the computer.

 You can also click on start search .. files and foders
 type
 Wuweb.dll
 Click on advanced .. click search for hidden files and folders
 When you get Wuweb.dll .. right click and rename to Wuweb.dll.old|
 Do the same for other as well
