How To Remove UPDMGR.EXE virus
Try this method to fix UPDMGR.EXE virus
↣ Please start your computer in safe mode.
↣ To go into safe mode — Press F8 key as soon as the pc restarts.
↣ (You will have do again if pc starts in normal mode.)
↣ You would see a black screen as soon as you hit f8.
↣ On the black screen >> select the option that says
↣ Safe mode with Networking
↣ Click On My Computer & double-click on Drive C >> Program Files >> Common Files
In this directory you’ll search the updmgr folder
↣ Right-click on the UPDMGR folder & delete it from your system.
↣ Then close the windows and return to your desktop
↣ Open Registry Editor
↣ Click Start Menu >>> Click Run Button >>> Type regedit in the Open Box
↣ Then click OK
Caution : Incorrect Registry Editing can cause serious problems.
↣ Please be careful while editing registry or contact our supoprt team to fix it remotley
↣ In the Registry Editor click the pluses(+) next to the following keys
↣ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> Software >> Microsoft >> Windows >> CurrentVersion >>Run
↣ In the right-hand column find the entry for UPDMGR
↣ Right click on it & delete it.
↣ Close the Registry Editor Window & reboot your computer
