How to fix SYSUPD.EXE virus
Try this method to fix SYSUPD.EXE virus
Please start your computer in safe mode.
To go into safe mode -- Press F8 key as soon as the pc restarts.
(You will have do again if pc starts in normal mode.)
You would see a black screen as soon as you hit f8.
On the black screen >> select the option that says
Safe mode with Networking
Open the Registry Editor
Click Start Menu >>> Click Run Button >>> Type regedit in the Open Box
Then click OK.
Click the pluses (+) next to the following items
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> SOFTWARE >> MICROSOFT >> WINDOWS >> CURRENTVERSION >> RUN
In the right-hand column highlight & delete the entry for SYSUPD
Close the Registry Editor
Delete the infected file
Click On Start Menu >> Search >> Click Files or Folders
In the Open Box type sysupd.exe
Click Find Now or Search Now
& then Delete the displayed file.
Restart your computer
